The Kitchen Paper

Turmeric Tea (+VIDEO!)

Turmeric Tea (+VIDEO!) | thekitchenpaper.com

Ummm hellllooooooo awkward! I made you guys a video. I’ve been resisting making videos for over a year now because 1) awkward, 2) awkward, 3) awkward. Can you tell I’m not super comfortable with video? I sound weird. I made weird faces. I accidentally cut the top of my head out of the frame. I forget words (hello, English? I need you!). Also, I use the phrase “completely homogeneous.” Um, who am I? Sorry/notsorry. I was going to wait and publish this on Monday… but if I do that, I might actually freak out and never publish it. TODAY IT IS! They say you should do one thing everyday that scares you, right? This is mine for the next MILLION DAYS. Whew. Here we go.

All of those scaredy-cat reasons aside: I MADE YOU A VIDEO! This is The Kitchen Paper’s first video e.v.e.r. and certainly not the last. I’m going to try to make at least one per week, so you can get to know me (awkwardness and all!), a bit of behind the scenes, and *maybe* some of the recipes will be a bit easier to understand. Is there anything you guys really want to see in a video? Let me know in the comments and I’ll put it on my list!

Make sure to subscribe to the TKP YouTube channel so you don’t miss any new videos β€” and my new TKP google+ while you’re at it! THANKS ERRBODY! No laughing at my speaking mishaps. πŸ™‚

Turmeric tea is something I drink regularly. I actually love the taste, but admit it is acquired. It’s definitely a weird drink at first, but if you google “turmeric benefits” you’ll be convinced you should drink it on the regular. Fo reals. The Balinese drink it like water because it cures so many ailments, and frankly: I think it’s amazing. It’s good stuff!

I’ve posted the recipe here, but it’s all covered in the recipe as well. ENJOY! xo

Great video. Impressed if that’s your first one. Edited really well, & good background music. Not sure about the tea though lol
